City Table

I worked with Kristin Bakowski from meisdesign.com on this one and it was great. I'm in the process of making two benches for it as we speak. It was a great project and I'm super thankful to Kristin for the support and business! More on this project later. Dean

Update

Lot's going on at Madera. Just wanted to post a note to let you know I'm still here. Not only are there special projects in the works, but I'm in the midst of finishing up a raw edged dinner table with benches that I'm super proud of. Will post images soon. Dean

Update

Just wanted to post the coffee table top and some pix of the store. Working on a custom console and cabinet at the moment. Will post some images of finished projects soon. It's a beautiful day out here in Marin and I'm going to the store to open up. C'mon people. You know you want a garden bench. Get your outdoor space ready for an amazing summer!
Cheers,
Dean

Getting Together - Fundraiser - San Anselmo

Lance over at LC BioFuels was kind enough to invite me to participate in this great community gathering honoring local green business as well as the runners for "Run For 1 Planet". It was a great fundraiser, with plenty of good food and good company.

I was able to bring three of my recycled redwood benches for display. A 5', 4' and a single.

I also brought a "natural" edged backless bench made out of milled elm (the tree had died of Dutch Elm Disease).

It was fun meeting everyone and I look forward to continued business and contact.

Custom Order - Modern TV Cabinet

Custom Order. Just in time for the big game! This piece was made out of all recycled materials. A returning customer and a joy to work with, Kristin had a particular look she was going for. My favorite part is the dark ebony stain. It gives it a sleeker, clean look.

Recycled Redwood Farm Table with Banding

Wow. Great project. My friend Frank and I really took pleasure in building this girthy table. All recycled Redwood. Rustic, functional, and girthy. I can't describe it as anything else. The metal banding gives it an old world look. We used big bolts for function as well as a design element.

Modern sitting benches Custom Order

Custom order. It was a pleasure to get to work with a very talented landscape architect. Brian of Tierra Seca Landscape Design, ordered these beauties for an upcoming show. It was a different direction for me, but I'm glad I was able to accomplish a vision.
